My wife and I enjoy watching the British detective series Midsomer Murders. The other evening we watched an episode which featured this song. The singer was part of the show which featured a folk song festival.
The song is ballad played well by the musicians and hauntingly sung by Lucie Jones.

The music is good. Will have to check out the series. I do enjoy a good murder mystery.

Yes, there are 4 to 6 episodes per year - 19 seasons on Netflix. The first 12 or so include a detective who was a Shakespearean actor before he came to the show. His TV wife and young daughter are on the show for each season and you see the daughter grow from young teenager up. He retires and is replaced by his cousin.
The crimes are strange and interesting and the series shows the countryside of "Midsomer County, England" which is actually filmed in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire with its beauty COL Mikel J. Burroughs

Midsomer Murders was a very good series. The brits did a number of good series. They made a good scifi comedy called Red Dwarf that was great.
