Not interested in a Henry Replica, but I own an original original Marlin 1894 in 44 mag, an original Winchester 1894-22, a Henry Classic 22 caliber, and a Henry Big Boy in 357 Mag. I have owned two Rossi Clones of the 1894 Winchester in 357, one 16" and one 20". I think my next lever gun will be another Henry in the new .360 Buckhammer. The last on my wishlist is a 45--70, haven't decided on a Manufacturer yet.

My lever action firearms are strictly to pay homage to the Cowboy era, and are not my "Go-To" weapons for defense (although many years ago, I have hunted with my '73 Winchester rifle and '66 Winchester carbine, as a tribute to the aforementioned romanticized 19th century). Had them since the Val Forgett and Turner Kirkland days.

They still do the job for home defense. The Marlin 1894 44mag has 10round magazine, and you can top it off without taking the gun out of action. I could hit a man sized target at 200 yards and inside 100 yards, a 44 mag out of a 20" barrel has near full size rifle bullet performance.
