Carlos Hathcock always wore a white feather on his cap, as if to dare enemy snipers to take a shot at him. They never succeeded. After his death, a variant of the M25 Rifle was named after him, called the White Feather.
This video was made as a final project for my Multicultural Folktales, and I chose to focus on an occupational group, the US Military. I researched legends, myths, and ghost stories. Carlos Hathcock was a living legend.
According to terms of Fair Use, "the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes." Even so, all the sources I used are shown in the credits.

Nice Video thank you. Being a Seabee we have Marine Gunny's in each battalion as Military Cadre for Tactics training including shooting.My First Battalion had a RECON gunny that had been taught by Hathcock, and he gave us some good shooting tips, almost everyone (600 Bees) in Battalion Qualified first time.
By the way funny thing about his Silver Star, he earned it by pulling Marines out of a blown LVT, and not for his shooting (crazy)
