I rarely carry one of my full-size guns, since my compact guns pack as much firepower as a full-size pistol. EDC is usually my P365 or P938.

SPC Randy Zimmerman Even though the P365 has a higher capacity than the P938, I shoot the P938 better than the P365. The P938 is an alloy-frame miniature 1911 in 9mm, with a great trigger.

SPC Randy Zimmerman Even though the polymer frame guns are lighter and easier to carry, I prefer my alloy-frame hammer-fired guns. The P320 is a great gun, but I prefer my P226 when I want to carry a full-size pistol. My compacts are also alloy-frame, hammer-fired pistols (P228 and P229).

1SG Russell Scott I got my P365 before the P365XL came out, so it didn't come standard with the extra capacity. I carry mine with a 12 round mag, and when I carry a spare mag, it is the 15 round mag. My P228 carries 18+1, and I always carry a spare mag with it, so I have 37 rounds available. The 18 round P228 mag is a Mecgar extended mag.

1SG Russell Scott My P228 was used, and when it was traded in, it didn't have any mags with it, so our manager ordered a couple of mags so it would be easier to sell. Mecgar mags are about $15 to $20 cheaper than SIG mags for comparable quality, since Mecgar was SIG's OEM mag manufacturer for many years.
