Well SPC Robert Coventry as most of us know the Special Operations community has a number of unnamed special operations organizations for special purpose missions.
I remember when Delta came recruiting to my infantry training company at Fort Benning in 1986 as they were looking at Infantry ranger, special forces qualified NCOS of whom a number were assigned in my company. Delta had Carte Blanche for recruiting.
Now an old friend commands SOCOM and the immediate past commander is also a friend of mine who now commands CENTCOM.
Delta, SEALS, Special Forces. 75th Rangers, Marine Fore Recon, etc. have many missions, some of which overlap. HALO, scuba qualification, language proficiency, etc. are common requirements among the various organization.
The most important capacities will never be discussed on this net - each Special Operator is highly qualified and accredit to this nation.

Robert good comparison, I will give my opinion and that is all it is: They both obviously get incredible training to hunt and kill bad guy. I would say the big difference is that not limited to SEAL TM 6 but all of NAV SPEC WAR, they have an OPSEC issue. I am going to stop there because I feel my blood pressure going up.
