Cheesesteak Egg Rolls Recipe | Episode 1128

Laura in the kitchen recipe for scrumptious Cheese steak eggrolls is a really good start. My wife used to make these finger foods to sell at a fair. Her version was a little different and called for some other ingredients.

1. Ribeye steak shaved down to size.
2. Bell peppers cut/sliced down to size. yellow,red,or green depending on ones desire.
3. 10/15 Onions cut/sliced down to size.
4. Pepper Jack block cheese . Cubed smaller than a sugar cube. place to the side for later.

Before starting, make sure the eggroll wrappers are moist like the ones in this video.

Start with a large skillet with canola oil. Combine bell pepper, onion and shaved ribeye steak. add 1 tsp to 1 tbsp of worcestershire and steak seasoning. Cook until done. " A very important step that is not covered in this video ", Is to drain all the fat and oil using a colander. Get as much fat and oil out of the product. You will be glad you did when it comes to the deep frying process.

Follow the way she makes the eggrolls in this video except use cubed pepperjack cheese. Or you can use your choice of cheese.

Note : If you are to fry them immediately use a toothpick to hold the eggroll together. Some will fall apart. If you didn't get all the oil or fat drained they will come apart. Believe me I have fried dozens and dozens of these. Enjoy ,they are scrumptious. Plus you can make these far in advance and they freeze great !
