I did not watch this video.
However, I wondered the time frame of Proverbs 27:17 (The proverbs were written from the time of Solomon (970—931 BC) through the time of King Hezekiah (726—697 BC). The final form of the book likely began to circulate late in the reign of King Hezekiah, perhaps around 700 BC.).
I also wondered when the Iron Age began (The Iron Age was a period in human history that started between 1200 B.C. and 600 B.C., depending on the region, and followed the Stone Age and Bronze Age. During the Iron Age, people across much of Europe, Asia and parts of Africa began making tools and weapons from iron and steel.).
So, the author of Proverbs 27:17 was implying how iron sharpening iron is better than the Stone and the Bronze Ages. Very interesting, no?
