Doesn’t any of the chain of command eat with the Troops? Volunteer Army with a huge proportion of married Soldiers makes it too easy for the chain of command to eat at home! As my profile reads, I listened and learned when the senior NCOs would have me ‘check’ ‘their’ barracks on weekends, ‘cuz they were going to be at home with their family! How about this, CSM Charles Hayden? One of the company commander’s additional duties is sampling, which means checking out the chow! I did it routinely as a company commander!
Everyone in the chain of command, and I mean everyone, should get stung for this.

May have been mentioned, but I didn't see it. Do they have contract food service or military cooks? If I had to guess it's contract, with the same issues seen in everything else moved from military control to contractor provided.

And if so, those contractors need to be dealt with Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen

I posted this issue yesterday. A friend who has someone stationed there is looking into it but this simply should not be happening.
