Good morning, Rallypoint, and welcome to the September 11th edition of Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD). I can see why the Tatra Mountains in Poland are a popular stop for astrophotographers. When you visit today's APOD page, mouse over the image and you will see where a number of features have been labeled for easy identification: Antares is the brightest star in the constellation Scorpius (The Scorpion), and Raselhague in the constellation Ophiuchus (The Serpent Bearer). Multiple locations in this section our Milky Way galaxy are popular features in past APODs. I like how the starlight is enhanced, and reflected in the water of the Bialka River in the foreground. Cheers.
