Since it was a Federal Judge, the decision has ramifications nation wide. In this particular case though it was originally brought in the Chicago area. As Americans regain the full power of the 2nd Amendment, the criminal element is going to become a self correcting issue. The perpetrators will either develop a fear of retaliation that stops their actions, or someone's going to shoot them while they are in the commission of a crime. As American's with the 2A we do not have to just let crime happen.

Good. Especially in the cesspits of the big cities. I know folks in NYC who no longer take the subway because their safety has zero priority by law enforcement there.

Don't get to excited because 1 the decision only applies tom 4 people and no one else. #2. An appeal will be forthcoming to the Circuit Court that serves Illinois and any decision will only impact those states in 7th district. Then to the SCOTUS before it will apply to everyone.
