It would change a lot of lives, and remove a major portion of the criminal element in this country. You'd probably still get in some kind of trouble if you were caught with pounds, taking tax revenue from the government, and such. As mentioned in the article, set some guide lines on where consumption can be done, I hate the smell of weed and don't want to be smelling it everywhere I go.

It's funny that pot is now one of the few bi partisan issues left. Most people are coming to the conclusion, why is this illegal again? How many lives have we ruined? Couldn't we make some good tax revenue from this?

Personally, I have never smoked it and don't intend to start. So I really don't care about it's legality. What I do care is about the violence associated with it and make no mistake even in the states where it's legal there is violence associated with it due to the cartels and others.
