Man, I am sending this to everyone in elected or appointed office in Hawaii. We have to get a new 'permit' for every pistol we buy. The 'spirit of aloha' will save us. In a Kahlua pig's eye.

I prefer CC to OC. Constitutionally anyone not a felon can Open Carry. But from experience I can tell you some of the few open carry people I've seen walking around are a bit too sketchy to be carrying. At least some whom I've come in contact with haven't even trained on the firearm they are carrying because I always talk to them when I see then at events. Law Enforcement excluded of course. I think CC Conceal Carry is the way to go. The whole point is to be able to defend yourself and others and if you open carry then you're the first person that will get hit in a serious situation so you're out of the picture. At least with CC there's a chance you won't be first hit or if you're lucky you can catch the bad actor before he or she pulls the trigger then you're the most effective projector you can be. Well, that's my 2 cents worth anyway.

They included a lot of graphs for this one. Bottom line is permits make no difference to violent crime in any given geolocation.

SGT (Join to see) - Yup, I did used to volunteer for NRA stuff until they started drifting to the Left/Rino Side of things. When I did I saw a lot of Graphs that showed the more guns were available and allowed legally the less crime period! I've carried all my life since we were held up at gunpoint in Chicago in the 70's.
