Poke and SOS are unusual foods? What a joke.
And my grandparents would argue that the vinegar pie was unusual too. Given the choice of earing or not, I'd eat the pie.

We used to eat polk greens cooked like spinach, my grandmother would walk the fences looking for Polk greens to cook.
