The Supreme Court on not standing for standing

The First Amendment is supposed to be what keeps the government honest. The people have the Right to speak their mind, the rest of us will determine the merit of that commentary and thoughts, and act accordingly. I feel that if the government can't answer to those thoughts and comments then they, the Gov't, or any other entity, is trying to hide something. They are forcing you to read their narrative only in hopes you will accept what you're being told, and reject other points of view as hearsay and theory. As thinking adults we must look at all angles and use our own brains to determine the rightness of a statement, not just accept it as gospel because of the source.
