PO1 H Gene Lawrence Hawaii has said I and other citizens have the 'spirit of aloha' protecting us. I personally rely on tangible protection.

Unfortunate where I live, in retirement community, guns and ammo are not permitted on the property, so my having fun has been dampened.

No fireworks? You prob can get someone to sneak you in some gunpowder and let your imagination run wild. If there is a lake there you could do a little "Redneck Fishing" that is if your creative enough. lol I'm gonna be hell on the staff if I ever end up in a home/community. My entire graduating class were mischievous, full of pranks, & good natured fun. Right now we have a silently agreed upon promise to each other to sneak in beer & alcohol when retired to these places. LOL

Bethina Lee - Beer and alcohol is OK, but firearms and ammo are not. That is the downside of not having our own home anymore.
