I would love to know how many of these purchases are by supposed 'gun haters'. I'll bet there are more than the left are willing to admit.

At one time I had 32 pieces and got tired of cleaning them all so I sold all but 3 of my favorites. However now I'm buying again.

" and are now thinking about Home or Community Defense. Being the Militia they are supposed to be"
and that should scare the hell out of any freedom-loving American.

SFC Casey O'Mally
MSG Stan Hutchison so you are taking Rick's words and twisting them to your own meaning?
Because that is not what Rick is talking about. That is not Community defense. And it is not the concept of a militia under the Constitution.

SFC Casey O'Mally - I am reacting to those words as I personally saw in the past. Armed civilians calling themselves "militia" and advocating the violent overthrow of our Republic, all the while citing "constitutional" authority. Vary similar to what we saw on January 6th. Fortunately, that rag-tag group did not have enough organization nor discipline to be successful or this conversation would not be taking place now.

SFC Casey O'Mally - It wasn't about enforcing politics, you were correct. It was about protecting our country and way of life from invaders.

SrA John Monette - "The “militia” is the state guard." That is an incorrect statement. The guard is a reserve component of the Standing Armed Forces of our Country. The guard personnel all carry a CAC, that allows them access to areas that civilians can't go. That same CAC does not mean they are the only people that are allowed to Keep and Bear Arms, uninfringed. All law abiding citizens have the right to do so. Quit trying to convince the world that you have to have been through Basic/Boot camp to own a gun and defend your home and community from invaders.

I thought they changed the Posse Comitatus Act but apparently Not! There have been no recent changes to the Posse Comitatus Act. This act, established in 1878, limits the ability of the federal government to use military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or an act of Congress. Recent discussions and legislative proposals have focused on reinforcing or modifying these restrictions, but no changes have been enacted into law recently.
