Im going to disagree with Trump's assessment. If some thing that should have ended your life, doesn't, it's proof positive that your assigned life task hasn't been completed. I have to use both hands to count the times I should be dead, going back to an age of single digits. I'm still here walking my walk and talking my talk. That Mr. Trump survived the attempt in the manner that it happened, is all I need to know that he should have a second term in the Oval Office. A 2 term limit for the President has only been a thing for less than 100 years, 22nd Amendment, February 27, 1951. If there starts to be discussion of over turning the 22nd A, I'll be throwing brakes in that discussion.

Two things. First, I think Trump needs to leave this type of stuff behind. Yep, someone tried to ice him. We all know it. Now just win the damn campaign and don't mention it any more.

Second, use the next few months campaigning on the goodness and heroism of the everyday supporter to highlight the differences of the two sides. Corey Comperatore was a good man who pit his family above his own safety when faced with adversity. Many more Americans are just like him.
