Sig probably has intellectual property rights on the design. Ruger will get in on the design sooner or later. The prices will come down.

SSG Michael Noll - No problem with that. Because Americans like to be using the caliber the military is using to take advantage of surplus ammo, there will come a day that .223 won't be as readily available as it is now. The AR isn't going away, it's too easy to just buy another upper to pin to you lower.

Thanks but no. I'm not spending $4 or $5 a round for anything less than a .50 cal rifle.

I would have considered it 40 or 50 years but I have enjoyed a solid love affair with Ruger ever since.
