Rising Antisemitism and Choosing Freedom

When you think on World history, specifically the 1930's and 40's, what stands out as the biggest atrocity of the time? To me it will forever be the the Nazi's systematic persecution of the Jewish people living in Europe. In my mind the 2 things are synonymous. It is this irrational hatred of the Hebrew people that causes me to use the label Nazi. And, boy has that label been thrown around in the recent past, at the wrong people. There's been a ridiculous tribal conflict in the Middle East that's been going on for thousands of years. If you believe the rhetoric, it was caused by a dead beat Dad. Thousands of years? How has a conflict between two tribes of desert nomads come to engulf most of western civilization, whose primary spiritual leader admonished Us to love each other as we love ourselves. And, went on to say unequivocally that anything that came before is now null and void. One of the founding principals of the Country was the Right to worship the Deity of your choosing, in the manner of your choosing. As with all Rights, it only extends to the point that you're not infringing on the rights of another. What is currently happening at some of the Institutions of higher learning in our Country is the infringement of of Rights of a certain group of people based on ethnicity and beliefs, at it's core. As an educated civilized Nation we should we should be above this BS.
