The design of some knives these days, you don't need to be all that powerful to accomplish successful results.

There aer some things that must be addressed.

1. Every hospital has the ability to treat a gunshot wound.

2. Fewer Hospitals have the Trauma capabilities to treat crush injuries.

3. Fewer still have the ability to treat severe burs from fire, steam or chemical sources.

4. If you take the gun from someone wanting to kill 10 people you will be left with a person wanting to kill more than 10 people.

5. If you take a firearm from someone wanting to kill others they will just find a more deadlier way to accomplish their desire.

6. Is there a Problem. Yes there is but taking guns away will not solve the social/economic/mental health issues that lead to these gun deaths. Of course the problem will never be solved as both sides of the issue cannot give this issue up as it generates money for all concerned from the media, politicians and support groups on both sides of the issue.

7. The problem of deaths caused by firearms cannot be solved by taking them away as the guns are not the problem but the symptom of the problem.

8. So the question remains. Do you really want to solve the problem of deaths by firearms or do you wish to maintain the false assumption that if you get rid of guns the problem will go away.

9. Let's be honest here folks. This is a social/economic/mental health issue and until people accept that we will continue seeing firearm deaths.
