OK, dude was obviously running an armory. I want to know under what law they determined he was doing it illegally. This story is short on legal details. It is CA too.

I'm sure we'll read all about the supposed illegality soon. And I have to ask. What's wrong with owning a million rounds? Especially if they were purchased legally?

Not all states allow possession of machine guns for citizens of its state. I know Texas does but the upfront cost of buying one then the ability to keep it fed is beyond my bank account. Then there are the silencers which I do not know if their poession is allowed in Calif.
I do know this persons collection makes me feel like a rookie. Wonder if he had any Krag 30-40 ammo as I sure could use some ore at least the cases
