Nothing will happen in the Senate. But now, whenever his name is invoked, it will have "impeached" attached to it and it couldn't happen to a more unlikable character.

What did you expect. Democrats gave republicans everything they could wish for win a Border Bill and they went and shut it down. Does that really make sense to you. The laws on the books and how to enforce them are left overs from the Trump Admin.
If you refuse to provide the tools to solve the problem on the Border then you have no right to complain and simply need to STFU.
I'm sick and tired of listening to people on RP complain about the Border and have zero knowledge of WTF they are talking about. They don't live here and most likely couldn't find the Border on a map if their life depended on it.

President Biden has no requirement to shut down the border unless illegal border crossings exceed 8500 in a given day or more than 5000 a day for 7 consecutive days. Anyone seeking refugee status or asylum status is allowed entry and may remain the the US for years before a hearing. Depending on who you believe between 15%-31% will be granted refugee status or asylum. The remainder may remain the US for years awaiting the results or their deportation hearing.
