IMHO 1) identity and 2) birthright - have nothing to do with 3) gender.
The first is your id - the part of the mind in which innate instinctive impulses and primary processes are manifest.
The second is the conflict between the drives of the id and the demands of the cultural superego.
The third is the male sex or the female sex or as determine by biological standards related by sexual dimorphism.
IMHO 1) identity and 2) birthright - have nothing to do with 3) gender.
