SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Informative to say the least. Certainly raises questions. Didn't his situation used to be described as a double (or triple) agent? It is certainly "short on specifics"! Nothing is said about when and how the deception was discovered . . . at least suspected and investigated - and for how long.
"But of all the spy scandals in the last 40 years, Rocha is believed to be the first member of America’s elite foreign service to have been accused of betraying their oath, said Kevin Whitaker, a former U.S. ambassador to Colombia.
If this is true, Rocha has stained the institution of the foreign service,”
However, nothing has been classified in our own government if it has been online and accessible through the backdoor access built into the software our nation bought from a foreign nation when it was discovered by 2000 there had been backdoor access built into that software. As far as I know it was never revealed who arranged for that software to be used and why.
In some cases high security companies currently store classified data on their servers located in other nations. Our nation should not be using those companies . . . unless our 3letter agencies have become sophisticated enough to use them for counterintelligence purposes.
However, nothing that goes on in our Legislative branch remains unknown by "foreign friends" who are clients, rather than actual "friends". Yet the American public (more precisely taxpayers) is not privy to that information and is left to wonder how the screw ups happen and who is responsible!
