MSG Andrew White - True enough, I'm for what the third Amendment is about but still know there people in the categories You describe that should NEVER have access to Firearms. I have one relative that I'm thankful has no access to firearms and has serious mental health problems I feat what Could happen if He did and He can and does get violent. . In over 40 years of Police work I've sure come across enough also in the categories You mention that also should NEVER have access to firearms. I also have no problem with proper training on both use and safety of handling firearms as a requirement to carry for the majority of us. In Massachusetts the course are required and are available and only people with verified Police or Military credentials not required to take the courses but still have to pass the other screening to get a permit to use or carry or have in their control or home.
