King Abdullah on Gaza: 'No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt'

""That is a red line, because I think that is the plan by certain of the usual suspects to try and create de facto issues on the ground. No refugees in Jordan, no refugees in Egypt," King Abdullah said at a news conference following a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin."
The above quote constitutes most of this short article. I'm not a mind reader, but I am pretty good at between the lines. Jordan is a Majority Sunni population, Hamas and The Palestinian State are primarily Shia. I think what King Abdullah is saying in his roundabout way is that He's not opening His border to an influx of possibly millions of Shia from Gaza and the Iranian influence that comes with them, for the safety of His own people. I could be wrong, it is after all just my personal opinion. Think of it like the Catholics and Protestants In Northern Ireland and the atrocities caused by both over the years.
