This is what happens when the government tells child the can do and be what they want over there parents raising them with discipline. It's unfortunate that the young generation and think it okay to focus their ideas upon everyone and right or wrong you must accept it or I'll burn city and cry like a little baby throw fits until you do.

It's interesting that the writer tried to use the 3rd Amendment to neuter the 2nd, ?“No Soldier shall, in the time of peace, be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.” then asking "When was the last time that the late Gen. Powell or Gen. Petraeus came knocking at your door needing a place to bunk?"
The 3rd Amendment is just as valid today as when it was penned. The Amendment was written because the British, at the time THE ruling government, DID quarter their military in civilian homes. The Founders wanted to make sure that wouldn't happen under the new Republic. It's the same reasoning that the 1st, snd and other original Amendments were written. To prevent the new government from committing the same atrocities as the Brits had. That's just as valid and important today as then ... just look at the abuses of the 4th Amendment (Search and Seizure) and even the 5th (Right to Counsel). In fact, we see the 1st violated daily on platforms like Facebook, etc., and we see news (news?) outlets censoring themselves in favor of one political party over another ... and schools censoring sports logos, religious logos, IF they're Christina based.
Rant over. In short, that letter was obviously written by a liberal-minded person who probably things we should STILL be wearing masks and closing businesses.

Oh goody. It's amazing, I thought they were canceled. After all, all the founding fathers are just old, dead white men who owned slaves.
