Author says "Let’s review and lay this to bed." Then He goes over the same points everyone else has, and ends up saying nothing. It's all personal preference. As to the Distance thing with the .45acp practice makes that point moot. At the range I put more rounds out past 50 yds than I do inside 20 ft.

I agree, that it is a personal preference... In my case I prefer the 9mm, SGT (Join to see)...

Oh for fucks sake, the next person that wants to write about this should do the following test:
#1 stand at 20 feet and have your friend shoot your ass with a 9, and then a .45. Then...and only then should you write with absolute and confident knowledge about the difference.
#2. If the writer survives the 20 foot rule , then march your ass to the 50 yard line and do the same damn thing.
There...now if your able to write about the differences...You'll get more attention from now a damn verified and authenticated source.

Forget the 9mm and 45ACP. If I need to carry its a S&W model 58. Yea Granny carries a 41 mag.

I used to carry a S&W-58 in the early 80's, great round, loved it, but then the 41mag round just got harder to get, even the 45 Long Colt round.
But I still like the 41mag round very, very much, it always fit between the 357mag and a 44mag, I can't even find the round here. But, I have a 357 and a 44mag revolver, and 7 others too.
