I went to Hood straight out of 'Nam in Oct '71. 20,000 others showed up at about the same time, adding to the 15,000 or so already there. Problems? They started at the Bell County line and only got worse as one approached the front gate. I left in Nov '74, for Korea, only to return 13 months later for another 4 years.
No surprise that they're still having problems down there.

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.
You and I got there at the same time after 'Nam (although I had a three-month detour at the Defense Information School). I was levied to Hawaii in August of '73 and never looked back.

Where's my popcorn? A family twofer at that. My mind goes straight into the salacious gutter with this story and enquiring minds want to know.
Back to reality. This is why Soldiers have almost no faith in their leaders. Everytime you serve with a shifty one, it wipes out all the good ones memories.
