You got that right! In early 2002, when they came in, we gave them the famous orange jumpsuits and affectionately called them carrots, and Camp X-Ray, "The Garden." After several weeks, we had a bunch of pumpkins!

Just turn GITMO into an educational camp. Then the world can't say anything about it without saying something about Russia and china both at the same time. People only care when you're both the world's police and diplomat. When the world looks to you as the beacon of human rights and you're government uses tactics against humanity it's questioned. We're not torturing them were reeducating them in the ways of Reganomics.

Interesting take! The Geneva Conventions allow only 'detention' of unlawful combatants, and commissions to determine status. To rehabilitate would take some doing. I assume that's what you mean by 'education.' Most were dyed in the wool killers. Not sure how you rehabilitate that.

Camp Delta was so terrible. Food, water, religious items, inspections by the International Red Cross, and life. You know everything they didn't give to our guys except Bergdahl.

There is no moral comparison between Gitmo and how our enemies treat their captives. GITMO: 745 RELEASED; NONE executed, beheaded, blown up, hacked to death, dragged naked and lifeless through the streets, drowned or burned alive. All things our enemies did to us and/or our allies. Gitmo is a small piece to the big puzzle of how we WIN the Global War on Terror, which is still ongoing. Detainees receive FREE Qurans, prayer rugs/beads, directions to Mecca, halal and Muslim holy holiday meals including lamb and baklava, white robes, services of US military Muslim chaplains, world class health, dental and vision care, recreation, DVDs, TV, library services, books, video games, correspondence, sports and more! Rush Limbaugh referred to it as Club Gitmo, and he wasn't far off.
