Reminds me of my 1970 Nova, when I bought it from someone it had a 350, 3 speed on the floor, rear end was so low, in 2nd it seemed it was still in 1st gear, As a young COP, in 83, I raced a good friend who had a 68 Vette with a small block, I had to race him twice, before he believed my Nova was faster then his Vette on the quarter.
I changed out the 350, with a 4 bolt main 350-30 overbore, Iski 300 duration high lift cam, Iski Hyd lifters, Mr. gasket double roller timing gears and chain, 10-1/4 pistons, all Teflon coated felpro gaskets, TRW bearings all around, brass freeze plugs, 2.2 intake valve vette double camel heads, Edelbrock high rise intake, Holly 750 double pumper, Hooker headers, Cherry Bomb glass packs, a 1968 Vette M-22 4 speed trans, Hurst shifter with the white stock knob, a stock 411 rear end out of a 68 Camaro.
Got with my 2nd wife, and had to sell it to the Cornell brothers who were dirt track racing, in order to move into a house.

Yep, I sure miss that stock green 70 Nova, and don't miss the 2nd wife, and stuck with the 75 Lincoln Town Car, that got my 2nd wife kicked out of her mom's house. Lol
