If only WWI could have been avoided through proper channels and without surrendering to the enemy.

It began with a Family squabble, then bluster of " ours is bigger" , dropped a deuce, then began the we'll show them"... and so they did.
It took out 2 monarchies, destroyed so many lives, ruined the continent's fertility, depleted countries coffers , killed millions- both civilian and soldier, ended family lines . But they showed them.
