6mm ARC Ammunition is Breaking the Rules, but What is it? ~ VIDEOS

My Point of View: 6mmARC is another of the rounds developed, in 2021, in the competition to replace the 5.56 as the military std. The competition that Sig just won the contract for with it's .277 Fury round and associated weapons, to replace the M4 and SAW. There are many firearms manufacturers that have the 6mmARC already in their offerings, because they thought the ARC would win the contract, so they're making a push to sell them. It's another of the rounds that has a better BC than a 5.56 and not as good as a 7.62 NATO. If you've already got a rifle chambered for it, buy up all the ammo you can find as it's probably going to get scarce. If you don't have this in your stable, don't add it. As I mentioned in the Sig article I shared a couple of days ago, the winning round and long guns, from Sig, should be where you're looking when you want to add something new. Again, this is my opinion.
