The most recent Biden budget proposal had a 4% increase to the US Military. This is actually a net decrease thanks to the inflation caused by printing too much money. He's also allocated 15% increase to a couple different Federal departments to help with climate change. His priorities is climate change which I think is stupid considering that Russia is considering nuclear war against Finland and Sweden if they join NATO. If they didn't give those departments 15% increase, I'm sure that could helped by a few more ships but you can't argue with President Biden, climate change is the most important existential threat to him, not the Russian threat to the world.
