Not to knock this, but ..
Education and health services are DESPARATE for people right now. No surprise at all vets are finding jobs there.
I would be willing to wager vet employment in food service and social work - other fields that are facing labor crises - is also up.
Meanwhile, businesses continue to "right size" their corporate staves, and hiring has gotten tight across the board, so it is no surprise that vets are also having a hard time finding jobs there.
With the caveat that vets are slightly more willing to do the "dirty work" (less appealing jobs of the day, whichever jobs those happen to be) and are slightly less monetarily inclined, vet hiring, for the most part, mirrors the job market.
If you want to know which sector you, as a vet, should be looking at, you just need to look at what sectors of the job market are going unfulfilled.
