Republican Senators block National Defense Authorization Act Until Vaccine Mandate For Defense Department Contractors Repealed

A series of GOP Senators blocked the National Defense Authorization Act from passing until a variety of amendments were added.
This is a long video but the topic is important to me and many others.
The Executive Orders of a POTUS can apply to the members of the executive branch if that passes SCOTUS muster. Extending a mandate to government contractors is a overreach and I hope this will be stricken from the National Defense Authorization Act as well as dishonorable discharge for those service members who elect not to be vaccinated.

As much as it has been in the news I should have known what NDAA stands for. I had to look it up! This takes me back to my teaching years, spelling a acronym the first time you use it! Thank you !

I am of the opinion that the current POTUS and his Executive Order extended to government contractors regarding the vaccine mandate would not survive SCOTUS scrutiny. As commander-In-Chief the Mandate for military personnel may fly, but a DD is a bridge-too-far.
