It is our technology in space in the manner of the Hubble Space Observatory, the Spitzer Telescope and more, using all of the tools at their disposal to adjust light and image filtering to maximize how the object is visualized in several different light frequencies... It is the story of a SUPERNOVAE that was seen by humanity and it is now that we see it in its infinite detail as the light from this SUPERNOVAE permeates the endless boundaries of the deep universe... On July 4, 1054, a Chinese astronomer recorded a "guest star" in the constellation Taurus. The extremely bright visitor was seen during daytime for several weeks and during night for almost two years. Now, a thousand years later, we know that it was a supernova, that led to the formation of the Crab Nebula.

It is one of the most recent supernova in the Milky Way that was visible to the naked eye in the night sky. There are two faint stars at the center of the nebula, one of which had undergone core-collapse supernova, forming a rapidly rotating neutron star, the Crab Pulsar. The Crab Pulsar is 28–30 km across, with a spin rate of 30.2 times per second. It emits pulses of radiation from gamma rays to radio waves. The nebula lies in the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way, at a distance of about 6500 ly from Earth. It has a diameter of 3.4 parsecs or 11 ly; and is expanding at a rate of about 1,500 km/s.

Observations in different parts of the spectrum reveal the intricate structure of the supernova remnant.

Observations in radio waves reveal charged particles in the pulsar's intense magnetic field.
Observations in visible wavelengths reveal chemicals such as oxygen and sulphur.
Observations in x-rays reveal the energetic pulsar at the heart of the nebula.

A ringed disk of hot energetic material encircles the stellar remnant. The pulsar spews forth twin jets of particles perpendicular to the disk.
