My bottom line is I entered AD on 2 Dec 54 and retired under Title 10 in August 1995. Having a break in service of 5 years the rest of those years were serving. Retired as a SGM (E9) US Army.

McAlester, OK
Called up in Support of Desert Storm. Stationed at McAlester Ammo Plant in OK. I was in charge of over 200 Called up soldiers. They did various jobs from Train repair to making sure the 155 ammo was good to go.
Jul 1956 - Jan 1958
Germany
During this time in Baumholder, Germany I was stationed with the 2nd AD Divarty HQ in the message center for 6 months then transferred to the 2AD NCO Academy as staff in operations. Jan 1958 we did Operation Gyroscope. Whole Divisions did this. The 2AD returned to the States and Fort Hood, Texas.
