"On June 23, 1929, born on this day, American singer, songwriter, actress June Carter Cash, wife of Johnny Cash. Had hits with Johnny Cash, 'Ring Of Fire', 'Jackson', 'If I Were A Carpenter' and won five Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2009. She died 15th May 2003 aged 73."

She was an an extremely talented singer, songwriter and actress.
