LTC (Join to see) They are the Kings of Bubble Gum and Paper Clip Repairs but that will only carry You so Far. Most of their Capital Ships are Ancient US and Russian Retreads. They All Should have Sunk a Long Time Ago.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel in the movie Midway, I remember seeing a scene where one of the junior officers was in The Hanger saying that the Halon or carbon dioxide system used to suppress fires had failed. Does that sound like something that would have been on the Iranian ship?

LTC (Join to see) - I Don't Think they Have Halon, Carbon Dioxide? In Either Case they both have Drawbacks. Halon was the End All be All Replacing the Old Carbon Dioxide Systems. Carbon Dioxide Displaces Oxygen which Puts out the Fire and Also Stops You Breathing. Halon didn't have that Problem "Supposedly" Halon is More Closely Related to Refrigerants. It will just coat the Inside of Your Lungs with Plastic. Yeah You can "Breathe" Halon for a "Little While" but when You Go Down from Halon Inhalation No Getting Oxygen back into You. You Go Down from Carbon Dioxide Poisoning I Might Have Better Luck Returning You the Land of the Living.
