Our LORD reminded us that if one sheep out of 100 was missing the shepherd will pen up the sheep and search for the missing sheep.
Similarly if a child is missing, searches will be launched until the child is found. I have been involved in a few searches for children - one toddler was discovered drowned, another young girl's body was never found, thankfully the other children I searched for were found alive.
