Thank you my friend LTC (Join to see) for making us aware that elementary school children at Yorktown Elementary School [open four days per week, with students attending Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Students don't come to class Wednesday so the school can be cleaned.]
I expect Art Linkletter [kid's say the darnest things] would be chuckling to hear this.

Students at a Virginia fifth grade classroom told President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden Monday that virtual learning gave them the chance to eat, take naps, and even fake technical glitches in order to avoid answering questions.
The school, Yorktown Elementary School, is now open four days per week, with students attending Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Students don't come to class Wednesday so the school can be cleaned.
One said, "if we were really tired, we could like take a little nap." Another said, "sometimes when Ms. B was like paying attention to something else you could eat and it was fun." Yet another student added that, "If you don't know the question, you can just pretend like your mic doesn't work."

Students tell President Biden what they REALLY thought of virtual learning.

Students give the Bidens their honest opinions of virtual learning
A group of fifth graders in Yorktown, Virginia, gave President Joe Biden and Jill Biden their honest assessment of what it was like learning from home, sharing how they didn't like it but at least could sneak in naps. The first couple stopped in Yorktown Elementary School on Monday to visit the fifth grade classroom as the Biden administration starts a blitzkrieg to sell its $4.1 trillion in federal spending package amid negotiations with Republicans. The kids are back in the classroom four days a week (Wednesday is for cleaning) and sat at desks with plastic shields around the them. Everyone wore face masks

I’ve had my kids in private school and they never stopped going to in person class. Perks of smaller classes.

My daughter teaches in Georgia. The whole virtual learning has been a mess and has compounded her work. They had in class learning and virtual learning. She had to keep two sets of progress reports. Kids tried to switch between them, it was a mess.
