Clearly, all of this gun legislation is a full frontal assault on the law abiding gun owners. They do not care about anything except for their agenda. What I do not understand is why do they want the law abiding citizens, their constitutes rendered defenseless?

I think one of the problems that we as gun owners have is that Gun Rights groups are constantly on the defensive. I went to city council meeting a few years back about that city blocking a Sporting goods store that made most of its sales off firearms. Of note to me was about 1/4 of the speakers were physician's and nurses. All of them had horror stories and how guns needed to be banned. I knew that CDC at one time had listed Medical Mal Practice as the thirds leading cause of death in the US with estimates ranging from 250,000 to 400,000 annually. There are roughly now 1.1 Million MD's in the US. That means statistically, every MD has mal practice death every 2.5-4 years of their career. How many of them will be banished from their preciouses College of (insert medical practice here)? Very few, how many MD's go to jail for sexual assault? Few, most of them settle and agree to work with a nurse in the room with them. How many lose their license after they screw up?

How many firearm related crimes are committed with stolen or illegally smuggled firearms? Give law Enforcement and the Judges the authority to really crack down on those perpetrators. Next we as firearm owners need to be our own advocates as to how safe and well educated we are, as well as those who are going to be future firearm owners.
