I hope you realize that the idea of unstoppable human leaders and subordinates is hyperbole. God’s design of creation includes friction in physical terms and correspondingly resistance in personal relationships. Biblical submission between partners and mutual respect of leaders and those they lead. Our LORD modeled servant leadership to HIS disciples. I pray that each leader who reads this prayer is focused on service to achieve their/our corporate and individual goals ‘When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. I pray that YOU bless the honest leaders, legislature members and judges with wisdom to effectively govern and favor with their constituents. As far as officials who lord it over their opposition and constituents by fiat, duplicity, and corruption, I pray that YOU shine light on their dark deeds and bring them to their spiritual knees. ‘For without cause, they hid their net for me; without cause, they dug a pit for my life. Let destruction come upon him when he does not know it! And let the net that he hid ensnare him; let him fall into it—to his destruction! [Psalm 35:7-8 ESV]
Since these individuals are focused on their own glory and they have no intention to compromise to achieve their goals in governance of nation, state, corporation, or platform, I pray that YOU deliver them as YOU did Belshazzar, son of King Nebuchadnezzar, for refusing humility and acting out of vengeance instead of love. ‘but you have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven… And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, but the God in whose hand is your breath, and whose are all your ways, you have not honored. …his is the interpretation of the matter: MENE, God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end; TEKEL, you have been weighed in the balances and found wanting; PERES, your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.” [Daniel 5:23a, 23c, 26-28a ESV]
