Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Jupiter and the Moons." Captured from Cancún, Mexico, we see our Moon (left) and the four Galilean moons Io, Ganymende, Europa and Callisto along with Jupiter (upper right). I'm not sure about the blue, white, and red artifact in the image (other than it seems pretty)...other than some opportune clouds. Perhaps our resident RP shutterbugs will have a better idea. Anyway, it looks like it was a nice night.

Great photo of our moon & Jupiter and its Jovian moons, Maj William W. 'Bill' Price! I agree with you about the red & blue "clouds"... Still tough to beat yesterday's APOD!
