In 1957 in the south Black people were still treated like slaves in the south. they had to sit in the back of the bus and in the terminals they had a white section and a black section I walked into the black section with a colored brother service member and almost started a riot. We we both from the north.

I Was Stationed At Little Rock AFB From 61 - 64, Then Off To Osan In South Korea.
But Even In Those Years Arkansas Was Segregated...But I'd Forgotten And Asked A Friend Of Mine ~ (Black Friend) To Come With Me To Little Rock Where We'd Shoot Some Pool And Have A Beer Or Two...He Looked And Me And Started Laughing While Trying To Say
"Sure, You Just Wanta See Me Get Lynched, You Sumbitch"! THEN The Light Came On.~ OOPS
