Thank you my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown for posting "Parents and Teachers Starting “Learning Pods” Are Done Waiting for Permission"
This reminds of home-schooling which has been a proven alternative to public schools for over a century
"These learning pods, or in-home microschools, involve small groups of families coming together to take turns facilitating a curriculum for their children in their homes, or pooling resources to hire a teacher or college student to lead instruction. They are a creative, spontaneous response to uncertain or undesirable school reopening plans that make at-home learning easier, more practical, and more enjoyable for more families.
These pods are also a prime example of what Adam Thierer calls “permissionless innovation,” where new solutions and discoveries are born without explicit regulatory blessings. In his book, Thierer explains: “The best solutions to complex social problems are almost always organic and ‘bottom-up’ in nature.”

With public education becoming far less effective to prepare students for the world they are to enter as adults perhaps something good will come out of this. What used to be part of the regular course of studies, ie Woodworking or metal shop, Home economics such as cooking, sewing etc You have to go to a vocational school now to get these things. These are basic skills everyone can use. Regular High schools don't even teach them anymore. Worse, even basic things such as History, Geography and Civics, (Yes, the study of our own Government, which I'll mention for anyone that didn't know) Seems many in Congress have no idea how the Government is supposed to function and We wonder why We have some of the problems We do. New math which runs hill and dale to result in the same conclusion that simple Arithmetic did with far less effort and often could be figured out easily in our head.without even using paper. Being able to make change without needed a machine or computer to add it up for us. Not hard to figure out why in world education We were in the top 5 as number three and now number 27 worldwide and still in decline. Real Education need to be revived before We fall even further and ignorance spreads even more and leaves young people are not even prepared to face life as adults. Some are ready, they think for themselves but far too many aren't and don't even have the tools they need to succeed and many lost the ability to learn or even lead but just follow the herd. That is NOT what made our country great !

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter
MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi - What is simple is always better, easier to figure out and can be done on the spot when its needed. That is a easy enough and actually applies a lot better in real life and can even be understood by just about anyone ! People are no longer thought to think and find the best and easiest solution and not waste time with complete BS that accomplishes nothing that already could have been done with less effort.
