APOD: 2020 July 27 – Comet and Lightning Beyond Bighorn Mountains

A late good morning, Rallypoint. A major Windows patch slowed me down today...if you get it, be ready to commit to 2 1/2 hours before you can work again. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Comet and Lightning Beyond Bighorn Mountains." The Bighorn Mountains are located in north-central Wyoming near Dayton. A well-timed and well-staged photo with a thunderstorm to the north, Moon lighting the foreground and off camera, and our friend NEOWISE hanging above Steamboat Point. Glad the weather cooperated in some Northern Hemispheric locales. Mine definitely wasn't one of them.
