Good Red Friday morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "NEOWISE of the North." If you've been waiting for some enterprising photographer to catch Comet NEOWISE with an aurora, wait no longer. Taken outside of Goldenrod, Alberta, Canada just after local midnight on July 14th, our new celestial friend joins a dancing display of northern lights on a summer's evening. NEOWISE is closest to Earth on July 23rd.
