Good RED Friday Col Burroughs Those who have a purpose for their lives have no difficulty in getting up and going. I know how this is. I really struggled when I retired from the Air Force; I was working at a job that provided a good income but no real feeling of doing something useful and I was searching for something else. I had to drag myself out of bed in the morning and work really hard to be enthuastic for those I was supervising and I made a decision to move on to something I could put my heart into. I spent 10 years in school counseling and even now, I run into students who tell me I made a difference for them. I feel the same way about my work with the Red Cross. I am grateful to have meaning and purpose in my life.

LORD I pray that YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are elected or appointed officials understand their purpose implicitly. I pray they demonstrate love across the aisle to their fellow brothers and sister-in-Christ. Let YOUR light shine on fellowship and inspire others to be respectful to those they disagree with.
LORD I lift spiritually immature adopted sons and daughters of YOU and physically immature children of YOUR adopted children to YOU. I pray that YOU guide the mind of the mentors of the spiritually mature to help them understand their general purpose and specific purposes. I pray that parents are blessed by YOU with wisdom and discernment to assist their children to understand their purpose. Help parents explain that our specific purpose shifts over our lifetime from childhood though to our death and that God is an ever-present help to give us wisdom.
I pray that radical BLM Marxists, Antifa and their allies will each be approaching the end of their rampage. I pray dear LORD that YOU convict the leaders and offer them a positive purpose. LORD I pray that YOU save as many of these radicals as YOU are willing.
I pray dear LORD that YOU bless YOUR own with wisdom to recognize that the rioters, looters, and most protestors are self-absorbed, and their rampage is based on a destructive lust.
Thank you, LORD for YOUR Word on our purpose.
